Nestoil Limited and its sister companies, B&Q and Impac have received the latest certification for Quality Management System, the ISO 9001:2015.

The certification was issued by Germany-based DQS, a leading certification body. This certification officially confirms that Nestoil, B&Q, and Impac have put people, processes, and systems in place to ensure quality delivery of products and services to customers and clients.

Nestoil is among the first set of companies to successfully transit from the earlier certification of ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001:2015.
The Group Managing Director of Nestoil Dr. Ernest Azudialu Obiejesi said the certification further underscores the fact that the Nestoil and its affiliated companies in the Obijackson group are committed to global best practices in the delivery of services to respective stakeholders. He urged employees to remain firmly committed to delivering the highest quality standards to customers and clients at all times.

This was contained in a statement signed by Osagie Ogunbor, head of corporate communications.

Quality Management Systems (QMS) based certifications are often required in bidding for Public Sector jobs especially in the Oil & Gas industry.

The International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) which regulates these certifications is a globally acclaimed body based in Geneva and made up of over 160 national bodies, including the US, the United Kingdom, and Germany.

Nestoil is Nigeria’s largest indigenous Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) Company in the Oil and Gas sector and has been a significant contributor to the industry since inception in 1991.

With over 1,500 direct employees, Nestoil continues to redefine industry standards in Pipeline Construction, Repairs and Maintenance with associated facilities for Dredging, River Crossing, and Shoreline Protection.
