His formative years in the industry included working at Black-up Paris between 2011 and 2013, where he gained hands-on experience and insight into international beauty standards. He also underwent training at Sleek Makeup, which honed his skills further and provided him with a solid foundation in makeup artistry and client relations. By the time he joined M.A.C Cosmetics, his reputation as a skilled and innovative makeup artist was already growing.

As a retail artist and product specialist, he trained teams on new product arrivals, cutting-edge techniques, and emerging trends in the beauty industry. His ability to educate and inspire earned him recognition, and he soon became a leader in the brand’s technical classes.

Chidubem’s work extended beyond the studio into the heart of Nigeria’s fashion scene. Since 2017, he has been an integral part of the GTBank Fashion Weekend, Lagos Fashion Week, and Arise Fashion Week.

His role as the lead makeup artist for StylebyZenith and numerous other high-profile shows allowed him to collaborate with designers such as David Tlale, Tokyo James, LaQuan Smith, Mai Atafo, Odio Mimonet, Romeo Hunte, Sukeina, Gert-Johan Coetzee, Emmy Kasbit, Lanre Da Silva, and Banke Kuku. His signature looks for their collections have become synonymous with sophistication and elegance.

Chidubem’s creativity doesn’t stop at fashion. His work has appeared in leading magazines like Exquisite, ThisDay, Genevieve, House of Maliq, and Made Magazine, solidifying his presence in editorial beauty. He has also been instrumental in creating visual narratives for major advertising campaigns, collaborating with brands like MTN, Glo, Samsung, and the British Council.
