An auto technician, Tola Olukilede, has stressed the need for motorists to ensure regular maintenance of their vehicles to avert accidents.

Olukilede said accidents happen on the road as a result of poor maintenance of vehicles.

He revealed this at the commissioning of Omowumi House/Rock foundation auto maintenance workshop in Lagos.

Olukilede, who doubles as the Founder of the workshop, said the workshop is certified to meet the needs in Lagos.

He said the workshop is in place to ensure better maintenance of vehicles and reduce pollution.

He said the workshop was designed to reduce road accidents, deliver genuine spare parts and long-lasting paints.

He added that the facility would offer services to automobile brand owners like Toyota, Lexus, Nissan, KIA, JAC etc.

He added that the facility would be beneficial to customers and SUV users living around Agege, Iyana Ipaja, Egbeda, Ikotun, Alagbado, Sango-Ota, Abeokuta, and even to Ikeja.

The event was graced by the Founder of Elizade Motors Limited, Michael Ade-Ojo, the new Managing Director of Elizade Motors, Taiwo Ade-Ojo, the Managing Director of Toyota Nigeria Limited, Kunle Ade-Ojo, among other dignitaries.

Chairman Toyota Nigeria Limited, Michael Ade-Ojo, said he was elated to see the workshop become a reality.

He advised vehicle owners to take advantage of the proximity of the ultramodern maintenance workshop to fix and repair their vehicles.

“When you start something good and that thing is multiplying in different ways, then you can thank God again for more of such, When you grow a seed and that seed multiplies in thousands, I think you have to be grateful to God because, as a person, you can’t do anything about it. It’s not every seed planted that grows; many dies,” he said.
