LAUTECH lauds appointment of alumnus as Naval Chief

The Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Oyo State, has praised President Muhammadu Buhari for appointing new helmsmen for the military.

Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. Michael Olufisayo Ologunde in his reaction to the development, singled out the appointment of an alumnus of the institution, Gambo Awwal Zubairu, a Rear Admiral in the Nigerian Navy as Nigeria’s new Naval Chief.

Gambo, a member of the Regular Course 36, is an Underwater Warfare specialist, with a sub-specialisation in Intelligence. His matriculation number as a student of LAUTECH is EAA071221. He holds a Master’s degree in Transport Management of LAUTECH.
