Four winners have emerged from the recent Indomie ‘Draw Your Dream Holiday’ promo.

The winners went away with various prizes, including a mega prize of an unforgettable all-expense paid travel experience to any country in the world.

The ‘Draw Your Dream Holiday’ promo was organised by Dufil Prima Foods PLC, makers of Indomie Instant Noodles, for children to relate their travel experiences during school holidays using illustrations.

The campaign was communicated through television, radio and through wrappers of Indomitables packs.

At the end, Aliyat Disu, 10; Chinemeren Eze, 12; Michael Prosper Oluwaseun, 12 and Jimba Solomon Chisom, 13 emerged winners.

The four children will travel to any country of their choice with one of their parents each, as part of the reward.

Making the announcement in Lagos, Dufil Prima Foods PLC’s Group Public Relations and Events Manager, Mr Temitope Ashiwaju, stated that the promo was a way of rewarding children for their unwavering loyalty to the Indomie brand.

“We are happy with the level of participation we received from children while the ‘Draw Your Dream Holiday’ promo lasted,” Ashiwaju said.

“Such participation is a clear pointer that children really value the Indomie brand. We know that holidays create beautiful and memorable experiences for all of us, including children, and so a few months ago we came up with the idea of a promo to reward children with a fantastic travel experience. And as a loving and caring brand, Indomie Instant Noodles planned to make the upcoming holiday much more special by offering them an all-expense paid trip to any destination in the world.

“The Indomie brand is known for fun and excitement and we needed to bring that to bear in any promo we wanted to tie the travel experience to. We could not think of a better fun-filled exercise to engage these children in than to allow them do one of the things they love doing best – drawing. We all know children love to draw, so the ‘Draw Your Dream Holiday’ promo decided to reward children for doing what they love to do best. All they needed to do was to draw their last holiday experience, take a picture of it and send it to a dedicated WhatsApp number. Dufil Prima Foods PLC is delighted to reward these children along with their parents with a trip to anywhere in the world they choose to travel to.”

In another development, sixty-six customers of Hubmart Stores went home with cash prizes worth about N3.5 million in its awoof promo conducted at its Ikeja office at the weekend. 

Each of its three branches at Victoria Island, Lekki, and Ikeja produced 22 winners, bringing the total number of lucky winners to 66 in total.
 
Olagunju Moses, Dr. Afolake Efunbojo, Ebele Okeke from V.I, Ikeja and Lekki Hubmart Stores respectively won grand prize of N250,000 each in the Platinum Category, six customers won N100,000 each from the three branches, nine won N50,000 each while 15 customers got N30,000 per person, all under the Platinum Categories.
 
In the Regular Category of the promo, three customers won N100,000 each, six went home with N50,000 each, nine customers won N30,000 each, with 15 customers rewarded with N20,000 each across the three centres in the regular category.
 
While speaking on this development, Vice President, Marketing, Cheng Fuller, stated that the retail chain was pleased with the massive participation of her teeming customers in all Hubmart activations and was always happy to share delight. 

He applauded those who won in the promo, calling on Nigerians to patronise Hubmart for their shopping, especially as Christmas and New Year season, promising that the store would continue to offer quality products and services to its numerous customers across its three centres in Lagos State.
 
The gesture, he said, was to reward its loyal customers, urging prospective and old customers to continue to patronise Hubmart Stores. 

Hubmart stores, he noted, would be having her first ever Orange Friday Fiesta, a customer-driven initiative, which he said would eclipse the just-concluded and hugely successful black Friday sales promotion.
 
The Orange Friday Fiesta, which has been scheduled to commence ‪on the December 14, 2019‬, he pointed out, will see Hubmart offer customers bumper flash discounts on electronics, alcoholic beverages, fresh produce, groceries as well as lots of other surprises.

The key thrust of the fiesta, as Fuller explained, was the celebration of Hubmart Stores’ three years of delighting its teeming customers.
