THE MALARIA, CHILD AND MATERNAL MORTALITY ERADICATION (MACMME) Project, has released a Public Service Announcement (PSA), following it’s #CELEBRITYVOICES social media campaign, which marked the official kickoff of the project.

The project which is geared towards spurring well-meaning individuals, government and organizations across Africa to join hands in eradicating the worrisome rate of malaria, child and maternal mortality and to help improve basic standard of living; had the October 1 Independence celebration as the official release of their public service announcement videos across major TV stations in Nigeria.

The call to action videos star notable celebrities such as IK Osakioduwa, Michelle Dede, Lolu of Big brother Africa, Shawn Faqua, Williams Uchemba, Adekunle Nodash and the brain behind the project, Nicolette Ndigwe, who all appear in a group version and then in singles, to raise a voice for the course.

The announcements which are all anchored on raising awareness about the need to cooperate in the fight against malaria mortality, the creation of basic health care, as well as housing and education opportunities for the underprivileged Nigerian, has received commendable response across social media platforms from the mass of uniformed Nigerians whose eyes were opened to the gruesome reality that the nation is faced with and have pledged support to join hands in creating the desired change that we seek.

“To achieve the level of consciousness required to get the entire nation as well as the international community involved in achieving MACMME, we plan to spread the campaign as far and wide as possible, and the PSA’s serve as a tool to begin that. We believe that with the success of the campaign, we can and will achieve MACMME” …Nicolette Ndigwe (founder MACMME).

The MACMME PSA’S also air across major radio stations in Nigeria. Watch videos below.
