In an interview with The Guardian in Lagos, NIMN Registrar, Thelma Okoh, disclosed that the challenge is for purpose driven young marketers who want to shape future of marketing, gain visibility and also showcase strategic thinking on what really matters in today’s fast-changing industry landscape.

To her, marketing is being reshaped by insightful and disruptive ways which include, AI Transformation: Disrupting through Rapid Automation; Evolving Mindset: How consumers are changing in 2026; Purchase Decisions: Factors influencing growth in the Nigerian economy; Cultural Currents: Global shifts in communication & branding localised to Nigeria.

Saying these dynamics are rewriting the rules of creativity, strategy, and how brands connect with people, Okoh said the young marketers are expected to do a video pitch and focus on one of the four topics mentioned and clearly state which topic it addresses.

She added submissions should be clear in order to attract good scores. In conclusion, Okoh noted the platform would enable the marketers gain industry visibility; showcase strategic insight; network with the best and win career-boosting prizes.
