Reacting to the award, Dr. MIM Agunobi expressed his joy and gave thanks to God for the journey so far. ‘Quality is very important to our everyday life. It brings to mind terms such as inspection, process control, auditing, standards and ISO 9000.

While quality indeed includes these principles, it also includes for example, Management Systems and continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, market focus, teamwork and the well-being of employees. For organizations, a quality approach is vital to maintain their business sustainability, while quality serves as a symbol of any Nation’s greatness. Continuing in his speech, Dr. Agunobi emphasized that quality assurance is a virtue all organizations must strive to achieve either consciously or unconsciously. As competition and the complexity of the global market grow, more and more organizations are embracing the need to think differently and inspire their employees.

Some look to grow the number of tools and techniques at their disposal so that they may find solutions they seek. Others may search for implementation strategies that produce the best results, while others may look for methods to sustain the results they’ve already achieved.
