Mother urges Yomi Fabiyi to leave Mohbad’s brother alone
Mrs Abosede Aloba, the mother of Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, aka Mohbad, has warned actor Yomi Fabiyi to steer clear of her younger son, Adura Aloba, in matters concerning the late singer’s mysterious death.
On Wednesday, during a press conference in Lagos State, Fabiyi alleged that Adura had messaged him on Instagram, claiming to know what led to Mohbad’s demise.
The conference, which was aimed at demanding justice for the late musician, took a heated turn when the allegations were brought up.
Mrs Aloba, visibly emotional, wasted no time in shutting down the claims. Pointing accusing fingers at Fabiyi, she said, “They killed Mohbad, and now you want to put his brother in trouble. Adura knows nothing about his brother’s death. Leave my son out of this.
“I have already lost Mohbad; I won’t let them take Adura too,” she lamented.
Fabiyi, however, defended his actions, maintaining that the message came from Adura’s account. “I’m not concerned about who sent the message, but the message itself. If it wasn’t Adura, then who was it? My focus is on the truth, not the sender. I bear no ill will towards him or Mohbad,” Fabiyi explained.
The late Mohbad passed away on 11 September 2023 at the age of 26.
