Controversial singer Portable has publicly apologised to Fuji icon King Saheed Osupa after calling him ‘big for nothing’ over a copyright dispute.

The 32-year-old street pop artiste lashed out at Osupa after his song was taken down from Apple Music and Spotify due to copyright infringement.

The track reportedly contained a line from one of Osupa’s songs, prompting complaints from the Fuji legend’s distribution team.

Facing backlash online for his disrespectful remarks, Portable took to Instagram on Thursday to express regret, blaming his hot temper for his outburst.

In his apology, he acknowledged that money was at the root of their conflict.

“It’s money that causes a fight. It’s money that destroys siblings’ relationships and causes a fight between father and son,” he said.

He went on to plead for forgiveness, referring to Osupa as his “daddy” and asking to be “abducted” as his child.

This isn’t the first time Portable has found himself in controversy, but his latest apology suggests he is trying to make amends.

His apology comes just days after actor and comedian Ijoba Lande warned him to be careful with his words following the release of a song about his marital issues.
