Nollywood Yoruba actress Opeyemi Aiyeola has publicly called out fellow actress Eniola Badmus as a Zombie. This follows a comment by Eniola she described as ignorant, disrespectful and insensitive on her Instagram post.

The drama began when Eniola commented under a video of Opeyemi, writing, “Ope, where is your front hair??” This comment also came with a laughing emoji — a remark Opeyemi and other netizens interpreted as body shaming.

In a response, Opeyemi didn’t hold back, expressing her deep disappointment that the comment came from someone like Eniola, who had experience terrible online ridicule and body shaming, considering her past appearance.

“I understand that there are people on social media who act like animals in human form, but I have chosen to respond to you, Eniola Badmus, because I expected better,” she said. “You, of all people, who used to be the face of ridicule and body shaming online, should know how hurtful such comments can be.”

Opeyemi pointed out that Eniola rarely engages with her content, neither liking nor commenting on her posts, yet chose to surface with a comment she believes was meant to mock her appearance. She questioned the intent behind Eniola’s remark and accused her of ignorance, lacking empathy, conscience, and genuine love for others.

“You see yourself in the mirror and call yourself beautiful, but what is beauty if it comes from a place of ignorance and cruelty?” she asked. “You have revealed your true self to the world and I pity those who have you as friend, Eniola, Opeyemi said.

You are a zombie, a living dead. That is, you are just living but in real sense, you are dead because of your ignorance, Opeyemi concluded in her lengthy video.

The actress also criticised Eniola’s public image, especially considering her position of influence and recent political involvement, saying that such behaviour is unbecoming of someone who young people look up to.

However, she appreciated her fans and supporters for appreciating her content and work irrespective of her appearance.
