Declare support for governor, Mbah, others

Councillors in the 260 electoral wards in Enugu State have assured Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State that they are ready to mobilise voters in their wards to deliver the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidates in the 2023 general elections.

The 260 councillors, who gave the assurance when they paid a ‘Thank-you’ visit to Ugwuanyi at the Government House, Enugu, yesterday, declared support for the governor, the PDP governorship candidate in the state, Peter Mbah, and other candidates of the party in the state.

They assured the governor of their solidarity and expressed gratitude to him for the leadership role he played towards their emergence as councillors in their respective wards on the platform of the PDP.

The councillors said that if not for the selfless leadership style of the governor, none of them would have emerged councillors in the state.

They also appreciated Ugwuanyi for believing in the youths, disclosing that 99.9 per cent of the councillors are youths.
