Member representing Doguwa/Tudun Wada Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Alhassan Ado Doguwa, has urged members of the All Progressives Congress APC in the constituency to set aside all differences ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Doguwa made the appeal during a stakeholders meeting on Wednesday where he stressed the need for party members to remain steadfast and work collectively towards ensuring the victory of the APC at all levels in the forthcoming elections.
Doguwa, Chairman house committee on Downstream reminded that no party member should be seen as an outsider following the recent realignment in the party. He added that he is ready to work with all stakeholder and group within the party in the constituency for the overall progress of APC.
The lawmaker also commended the Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, for his support and leadership, assuring that party members would not disappoint the administration.
He further appealed to both longstanding and newly joined APC members to exercise patience, embrace one another and strengthen unity within the party.
Doguwa equally called on aggrieved members who may have left the APC for one reason or another to return to the party and contribute to the collective effort of securing victory for the APC in Kano State and across Nigeria.
On the presidential election, the former Majority Leader urged northern Nigerians to support the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in 2027.
He said allowing President Tinubu to complete an eight-year tenure would promote fairness, equity and national unity, recalling the support given to the North during the administration of late former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Doguwa maintained that unity among APC members remains the key to the party’s success in future elections.
