2027: Muslim Group endorses Tinubu, Hamzat

The Lagos State Muslim Directorate of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors has paid a courtesy visit to the leadership and Missioner of the Shamsudeen Society of Nigeria, Sheikh AbdulWaheed Badarudeen, to build support ahead of the upcoming political season.

The delegation was led by Alh. Waheed Tella, Director of the Directorate, under the leadership of Mr. Tayo Ayinde Akinmade, Director General of Renewed Hope Ambassadors Lagos.

The visiting team also included Hajia Aloba Idayah, Esq (Secretary) and Dr. Bello Mustapha (Logistics).

During the meeting, the Directorate presented its core mandate: mobilizing Muslim support for the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and supporting the emergence of Dr. Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat for Governor of Lagos State.

Receiving the delegation, Sheikh Badarudeen declared his full support for both leaders. Pointing to key federal projects, including the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) and the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway project—the Missioner noted that the President has done well and will do better.

He also praised Dr. Hamzat’s public service track record in Lagos State, committing to advocate for both candidates across his various platforms.

In response, Alh. Waheed Tella thanked the Missioner for his audience and reaffirmed the Directorate’s commitment to advancing candidates under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

The visit concluded with prayers offered by Sheikh Badarudeen for the delegation and the overall success of the initiative.
