AA chairman kidnapped

The national chairman of Action Alliance (AA) Kenneth Udeze has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen, outside a Zenith Bank branch in Dutse Alhaji, Abuja.

Udeze’s wife, Genevieve, said her husband was kidnapped when he went to find out why heavy withdrawals were made from his bank accounts without his consent.

“After suspecting his account had been hacked, he rushed to the bank to find out what happened,” Genevieve told journalists.

“He was with his driver when he was kidnapped outside the Zenith Bank.”

She said the abductors took Udeze away in a black SUV to an unknown destination.

Genevieve opined that her husband’s abduction appeared politically motivated.

Udeze’s wife said she was going to report the incident to the police.

But the spokesman of the FCT police command Anjugurijesse Manzah said he had not received any report on the kidnap.

“No, I don’t have an idea of that because we don’t have any report here,” Manzah told The Guardian.
