ACEN instals Oke as its 19th national president
The Association for Consulting Engineering in Nigeria (ACEN) has installed Fatai Ajibade Oke as its 19th President.
Oke, in his inaugural address at the investiture ceremony held at MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos, at the weekend, commended the efforts of the past presidents with assurance to continue on the legacy of ACEN’s forerunners.
He said: “ACEN needs to be more visible to the public, all tiers of government, corporate bodies and other parastatals.
“We will continue to work closely with Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) on issues of public importance in the built industry.”
Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who was represented by the Special Adviser on Works and Infrastructure, Aramide Adeyoye, commended the efforts of ACEN in nation-building.
Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, who was also represented by his Deputy Chief of Staff, AbdulMojeed Wale Mogbonjubola, commended the ACEN.
