The Chief of Air Staff, Air-Marshal Isiaka Oludayo Amao, has assured Nigerians that very soon the problem of insecurity in Nigeria will be a thing of the past.

He noted that the Federal Government is doing all that is expected to do to ensure that the issue of insecurity is nib in the bud.

Amao gave the assurance as the Chairman at a book launch: “52-week Devotional ‘The Amazing Life” written by an aviation expert, Damilola Ogunseye which took place at Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja,

He assured that the Federal
Government has not relented in the area of tackling insecurity, adding that President Muhammadu Buhari has given to the military all they needed to ensure that the problem of insecurity in the nation becomes a thing of the past.

“However, the money approved cannot buy anything until the next one or two years because most of our equipment cannot be bought on the shelf. They have to be manufactured. For example, Super Tucano that were paid for, for more than three years ago were just received. This is the issue with the military” he said.

Amao raised the issue of bureaucracy in the course of purchasing arms, adding that the military has always been all out against the bandits with a view to decimating their arsenal.

“Speaking as the Chief of Air Staff and member of National Security Council, National Defence Council, I wish to assure Nigerians that we are working assiduously to ensure that lasting peace is restored to all troubled parts of the country such that the current security challenges we are experiencing will soon become a thing of the past.

“However, we must continue to pray for our leaders including President Muhammadu Buhari for God’s wisdom, grace and enablement to steer the affairs of the nation towards unity, peace and prosperity.5

Ogunseye said the inspiration of the book was divine when he was on his way from New York to Nigeria, adding that it was an instruction from God for him to do the compilation.

“It is 52 weeks devotional and has nothing to do with calendar days. It can be used any day with the belief that the wordings and its teachings can transform life.

Ogunseye disclosed that he was instructed of God from 18th July 2018 to start writing the book while this year, he was instructed by God to compile some topics and turn them to book.”

He remarked that the book has no specific audience but for every body including Christians and Muslims and everyone that desires to make heaven.

“The world is in serious comatose, the world is upside down. Whosoever picks and reads the book will be transformed. It has nothing to do with Calendar days. It can be used any day and the content has the capability of transforming lives.

“My belief is that if everyone does what is right which can be achieved through transformation, the world would be a better place,” he said.
