Atiku wins in Adamawa, defeats Tinubu, Obi, Kwankwaso

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has been declared the winner of the Saturday, February 25, presidential election in Adamawa State.

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has been declared the winner of the Saturday, February 25, presidential election in Adamawa State.

Atiku polled a total number of 417, 611 votes according to the results announced on Monday evening by the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) collation officers for the 21 Local Government Areas (LGAs) in the state.

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Party (APC), Bola Tinubu, polled a total of 182,881 votes.

On the other hand, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, polled 105,648 votes, while the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) presidential candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso, received 8,006 votes.

The total number of registered voters in the state is 2,196,566 while the number of accredited voters is 764,834.

The total number of valid votes is 731,140, the total number of rejected votes is 30,481, and the total number of votes cast is 761,621.
