A rising commercial financial institution, PremiumTrust Bank, has opened to customers in Abuja.

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) business office makes the sixth branch in less than 90 days of commencing full banking operations.

Speaking at the inauguration, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Emmanuel Emefienim, noted: “We are on board with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in its financial inclusion policy. We are on board with CBN in its drive to grow the economy, enable businesses and improve lives.”

He recalled the bank was recently announced as an official banker for the 2022 National Sports Festival billed for Asaba, Delta State in furtherance of upholding Nigeria’s unity and diversity.

Emefienim said, “Abuja will serve as a major hub for us and in the coming months, more branches will be opened. We will then complement brick and mortar with digital offerings leveraging technology to ensure that our customers enjoy the best of Premium services with speed of execution across the country.”

In his remarks, Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Finance, Alhaji Shehu Shinkafi, congratulated the bank on the feat, encouraging the organisation to maintain the tempo.

Representative of FCT Minister, Lukman Agboola Dabiri, assured of the administration’s support in providing an enabling environment for business to thrive.

The founding pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr. Paul Enenche, conducted the tape-cutting.

Other dignitaries include former Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and member of House of Representatives, Khadija Bukar Abba Ibrahim, Director-General, Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), Asishana Okauru and Director, Banking Services, Samuel Okojere.
