Cleric commends Ugwuanyi for peace, good governance
As Enugu gov, Ekwunife get Ukpo traditional titles
Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry Enugu, Nigeria (AMEN), Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka, yesterday, commended Enugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, for his commitment to peace good governance, brotherly love, friendship and support for the ministry.
He made the commendation as the governor joined members of the ministry in their last crusade for 2021, to the admiration of worshipers, who cheered the governor for his humility, commitment to God and uncommon disposition to peace and good governance.
Mbaka, who described Ugwuanyi as a good man, father and friend to the ministry, disclosed that under Ugwuanyi’s leadership, the ministry had enjoyed peace, love and quality access road.
“If not for the access road, we would have been in a forest that will be difficult to locate, just to mention a few among other great things the governor has been doing for this ministry,” he said.
He said the adorers were happy with the governor, adding: “We are happy you are here to witness the end of the crusade. We will continue to pray for you.”
Responding, Ugwuanyi, who praised and worshipped God with the adorers, wished them a Happy Christmas and prosperous New Year ahead.
In another development, Ukpo Community in Anambra State, also yesterday, conferred the chieftaincy title of “Ifezulumba” on Ugwuanyi in recognition of his contributions to the development of Ukpo and mankind.
The title was conferred on him by Igwe Robert C. Eze (Okofia VI) the Igwe Ukpo and Clan Head of Dunukofia Ancient Kingdom, Anambra State at the 30th Ukpo Ofala Celebration.
Those who attended the event are Arthur Eze (Ebube Ukpo, Ozoigbondu); representative of Anambra Central Senatorial District, Uche Ekwunife (who was also conferred with the title of “Ifekaolaedo”) and National Vice Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), South East zone, Chief Ali Odefa, among others.
