Heritage Bank Plc has appointed Adewunmi Ogunsanya, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), to its board as a Non-Executive Director.The move, according to the bank, is consistent with its corporate governance, efficiency, and sustainability outlook, enabling the bank to take advantage of the synergies from its experienced board members for the benefit of its wide array of customers and other stakeholders.

Ogunsanya, an astute businessman of repute and the Chairman of Multichoice Nigeria Limited, brings to the board a global wealth of experience spanning over 30 years of quality private sector service.

He is a passionate Lagosian, with extensive investment in other areas of the state’s economy. Ogunsanya is the Chairman of no fewer than 10 other companies in commercial real estate development, agro and agro allied concerns and broadcasting.

He graduated with a law degree from the University of Kent in 1984 and thereafter proceeded to the Nigeria Law School, where he qualified as a solicitor of the Supreme Court in 1985.

However, the management of the bank in a statement, has expressed delight in welcoming Ogunsanya to the board, with very rich and professional experience relevant to Heritage Bank and the industry. “These skills will no doubt support our bank’s quest to become Nigeria’s Fastest Growing Bank.”
