Ekiti APC youths endorse Bamidele for governor

The youth wing of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State has endorsed the senator representing Ekiti Central in the Senate, Opeyemi Bamidele, for governor.

The youths, under the auspices of Coalition of Youth Support Group, who yesterday passed a vote of confidence on Bamidele during his consultation tour to Emure, Ilejemeje and Moba local councils, described him as the most experienced and competent APC aspirant to fly the party’s ticket for the forthcoming poll.

The coalition’s co-ordinators in the councils, Ajiboye Boboye and Aina Folajimi, appealed to the APC youths across the state to back Bamidele’s aspiration.

MEANWHILE, Bamidele, who said that God had anointed him to turnaround the fortunes of the state if accorded the leeway to occupy the governorship seat, promised that youths’ employment, human and infrastructure development, commercial agriculture, free and compulsory basic education, tourism development, robust healthcare delivery and reformed civil service would be the kernel and policy thrust of his administration.

He debunked the widespread claim that Fayemi has endorsed one of the aspirants.
