Ekiti entrepreneurs trained on digital marketing


Organisers of the annual Ekiti Future Summit and Awards have trained entrepreneurs on digital marketing to help them leverage technology to reach more customers.


Participants at the training were empowered with digital skills such as email marketing, Google Ad, and affiliate marketing to promotes their brands and businesses.

CEO of the organization Ekiti Future Summit and Awards Olusola Adeoti disclosed that entrepreneurs were engaged in a two-day free digital marketing masterclass held from 30 July to 31 July 2021.

Adeoti, a digital strategist and data enthusiast, said the training was “to periodically engage youth and to see Ekiti state become more innovative and use innovation to drive sustainable development.


“Our aim is that all Ekiti youth embrace innovation and move in the direction of digital transformation through use of emerging technologies and trends,” he said.

Adeoti and the lead strategist for Absolute Hearts Media Tunny Ogunnowo facilitated the training.

“We are on a mission to unleash the full economic potential of the youth and young adult through education, events, and mentoring,” Adeoti said.

He expressed optimism that the “Ekiti Future Project” will deliver a great outcome.

One of the participants Ochai Thank said the training was “educative and worth the while, we were taught how to use digital tools effectively. I will implement all that I have learnt, I am so grateful to the organizers for putting together this laudable event.”
