FG reconstitutes NSIA board
The Federal Government yesterday reconstituted the board of directors of the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA), with the appointment of six new board members.
According to the National Economic Council (NEC), the new nominations cover the six geo-political zones in the country following approval by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The new board include, Olajide Zeitlin, from the South West region, who also doubles as the Chairman; Bello Maccido (North West); Lois Laraba Machunga-Disu (North Central), Urum Kalu Eke, (South East), Mrs. Halima Buba (North-East) and Asue Ighodalo (South-South).
The Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun, speaking on the nominations said: “All six of the newly appointed board members embody the spirit of the NSIA’s establishment Act and bring talent, expertise and professionalism to the table. ’’
The country is fortunate to have them serve in various capacities on the Board of the NSIA.”
The Managing Director and CEO of NSIA, Uche Orji, said the board, reconstituted is indicative of government’s commitment to strengthening governance at the NSIA.
