A United States-based company, Trimble, and its partners in Nigeria will be organising a “Trimble day in Nigeria” event for Nigerian stakeholders on how to accelerate economic growth in the country.

Themed, “Accelerating economic growth and embracing sustainability-focused development underpinned by a geospatial framework,” the virtual meeting, scheduled for December 16th, 2021, at 2pm, is expected to bring together public and private sectors stakeholders to discuss the ramifications of leveraging a geoscientific framework that will drive business and increase growth in Nigeria.

According to the organisation, the meeting will equally highlight the value and contributions of Trimble’s portfolio towards achieving such goals and enhancing sustainability for Nigeria.

“Trimble transforms the way you work. Trimble applies technology to make field and mobile workers in businesses and government significantly more productive. Solutions are focused on applications requiring position or location – including surveying, construction, agriculture, fleet and asset management, public safety, and mapping,” the firm said in a statement.

Vice President of Trimble in charge of Emerging Markets and Funded Projects Division, Albert Momo discussed the objectives Trimble intends to achieve in the Nigerian market.

“Trimble is an S&P 500 company committed to bringing new technologies that can accelerate sectors critical to Nigeria growth– Agriculture, Infrastructure, Construction and Mining,” Momo said.
