Friends and associates of the Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly and gubernatorial flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2027, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu, at the weekend held a special prayer session to mark the lawmaker’s 41st birthday anniversary.

The session, led by Imam Maraba of Ilorin Emirate, Imam Aliyu Gbamuragaji, drew a large turnout of dignitaries, members of the State Assembly, local council chairmen, APC stalwarts, and supporters of Danladi-Salihu, seeking divine blessings for the Speaker on his new age.

Extolling the personal virtues of patience, loyalty, and compassionate leadership that Speaker Danladi was said to embodied, Maraba said the celebrant’s strong faith in Allah has been a powerful force behind his consistent triumphs.

He added that returning to Allah on his birthday anniversary, at such a symbolic place of worship in the heart of Ilorin, further demonstrates the deep connection Speaker Danladi and his supporters have established with their Creator.

While praying for the success of the 10th Assembly Speaker’s gubernatorial ambition in 2027, the cleric also offered special prayers for Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s administration, for peace, unity, and more prosperous Kwara State.
