Fulani leader warns herdsmen against plan to form vigilante in South East
A prominent Fulani leader in the North, Senator Walid Jibrin, has asked all Fulani associations to bury the idea of forming vigilante body in the South-East or any part of southern Nigeria but to join hands to work for unity, peace and progress of the nation.
Besides, he also urged the governors in the South to be calm over the recent pronouncement of the herdsmen to form vigilante body.
Jibrin, who spoke with journalists in Kaduna yesterday, said Fulani associations should rather come to a roundtable conference to address herdsmen/farmers problems in the various communities.
