It was a medley of praise and soul-lifting messages at the Stand Out Conference held in Ikeja yesterday to mark the 45th birthday of Prophet Israel Oladele Ogundipe, the shepherd-in-charge of Genesis Global of the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC). The interdenominational event attracted many dignitaries from the clergy, entertainment and political circuits.

The rave-making gospel singer, Tim Godfrey, raised down the roof and serenaded the guests with praises before the celebrant, Prophet Ogundipe, poured out his heart in an inspiring pep talk on the theme: Standing Out.

Ogundipe, born March 10, 1974, is blessed with an uncommon prophetic gift that has seen him be a blessing to so many lives for the past 15 years. He is a selfless giver and great philanthropist and the president of Israel Oladele Foundation for widows and homeless kids.

He said: “Those who dare to stand out do not stand with mere men but outstanding men and standing out from the crowd requires courage and a lot of sacrifice. Standing out requires a great dose of self-discipline and determination. When you dare to be different, do not compare yourself to others and never try to fit in, you are on your way to standing out in all you do.”
