Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Political and Other Matters, Alhaji Ibrahim Kabir Masari, has expressed optimism that the President’s supplications during the ongoing Umrah pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia would attract divine intervention and bring relief to Nigerians.

Masari, who is among members of the presidential delegation accompanying Tinubu to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, said the spiritual exercise provided an opportunity to seek Almighty Allah’s guidance for the President and his administration.

A statement issued by the Media Office of the Special Adviser on Tuesday, November 3, disclosed that the delegation comprised state governors, the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, and other senior government officials.

According to the statement, Masari joined Tinubu and other members of the delegation in performing the sacred rites of Umrah in the holy city of Makkah.

Speaking on the significance of the pilgrimage, the presidential aide said the delegation was praying for Nigeria’s peace, unity, security and prosperity, while seeking divine wisdom for the country’s leadership.
He said the prayers were particularly aimed at securing God’s guidance and strength for Tinubu to successfully advance his administration’s development agenda.

“We are using this important spiritual exercise to seek Almighty Allah’s guidance for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his administration. Nigeria’s peace, unity and prosperity remain paramount, and we pray for the wisdom and strength needed to advance the country,” Masari said.
