GKS begins feast of tabernacles tomorrow

The God’s Kingdom Society (GKS), The Church of The Living God, will tomorrow begin the celebration of its yearly Feast of Tabernacles.

The God’s Kingdom Society (GKS), The Church of The Living God, will tomorrow begin the celebration of its yearly Feast of Tabernacles.

According to the Acting Publicity Secretary of the church, Emmanuel Oriaku, the event will hold at the newly constructed venue, Saint Urhobo Square at the church headquarters, Salem City, Warri, Delta State.

He disclosed that members and friends of the church will witness another spiritual reawakening. Oriaku said that the President of the Church, Felix Ekundayo Adedokun would deliver an address entitled: “The World Before The Judgment Seat Of God Almighty,” while the event entitled the Last and Great Day – Holy Convocation will hold on Sunday, December 18, 2022.

He added that there would be Bible lectures each day to be ministered by the ministers and members of the church at 5:00pm. Other highlights of the event include the Christian Women Assembly programme, where women will exhort their fellow women on the need to be godly women.

The festival will also feature street procession, blessing of little children, musical performances, declaration of faith in God Almighty and His son Jesus Christ by the laity, Thanksgiving and prayers to God. The eight-day programme will also be streamed online via the various Internet platforms of the church.
