Government restates commitment to speedy completion of OAU power plant

The Federal Government has stated its commitment to the speedy completion of the ongoing power project at the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile Ife, Osun State.
The assurance was given at the weekend by the Minister of State for Power, Prince Goddy Agba, during an assessment tour of the facility.When completed, the plant is to generate about 8.30 megawatts for the entire university community, including the sister institution, Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Complex (OAUTHC).The minister stated that government was serious about the project and similar ones being executed in other federal universities across the federation.
