Group lauds Tinubu for $3bn social protection, human captial initiatives

President Bola Tinubu has been commended for his recent launch of a $3.05 billion package aimed at reducing poverty and building human capital in the country.

A political group, Tinubu/Dikko Again 2027 Women and Youth Center, made the commendation Sunday afternoon at a stakeholders meeting held at its office in the Katsina State capital.

Speaking on behalf of the group, Director General of the Center, Hon. Salisu Majigiri said the initiatives comprised of the Nigeria Community Action for Resilience and Economic Stimulus (NG-CARES), the Solutions for Internally Displaced and Host Communities (SOLID) program, and the Human Capital Opportunities for Prosperity and Equity (HOPE) package, would help translate economic reforms into grassroots improvements.

Majigiri, who doubles as House of Representatives member representing Mashi/ Dutsi federal constituency, also commended president Tinubu for creating four additional Nigerian Army Divisions with approval for recruitment of 28,000 personnel as part of measures to tackle security challenges plaguing the country.

He said of the four new army divisions approved by the president, three are in the northern part of the country, including 5 Division, Makurdi, Benue state; 9 Division, Ilorin, Kwara state, and 10 Division, Jalingo, Taraba state.

He described the president’s approval for recruitment of 28,000 army personnel as the largest military expansion in recent years .

The lawmaker said such people-centered policies among others, further demonstrates the commitment of president Tinubu’s administration to the safety and well-being of the people of the northern part of Nigeria.

The Center also showered encomiums on Governor Radda for the recently issued Executive Order to strengthen war against insecurity across the state.

Majigiri said the order has started yielding positive results in the planting season in the state.

He further acknowledged the governor’s recent recruitment of 2,158 teachers, which brought total number of teachers employed by the administration to 9,481, after having previously employed 7,323 teachers.

He said the gain strides of the Radda-led administration in the education sector has become a reference point across the country.

He further lauded Radda for what he described as “huge and numerous infrastructural projects, qualitative health care provision across the state, revolution in agricultural sector, and his commitment and dedication to security of lives and properties in Katsina state”.

Majigir, therefore, expressed Center’s determination to ensure overwhelming victory for president Tinubu in the 2027 general election.

He said similar gesture would also be extended to Governor Radda as well as all All Progressive Congress (APC) candidates varying for various political positions a the national and state levels.

He said the Center with representatives from 6,652 polling units, 361 wards, and 34 councils of the state, would work towards grassroots mobilisation and support for both president Tinubu’s and Governor Radda’s administration as the nation prepares for the 2027 general elections.
He said the Center initiated and established by the former governor of the state, who also serves as its Grand Patron, Dr. Ibrahim Shema, is a women and youth support group established to ensure president Tinubu, governor Radda, and all APC candidates win the 2027 general elections with overwhelming votes.

He, however, called on all the Center’s members as well as supporters to work assiduously for the success of all APC candidates in the state.
