With the challenge of morals particularly among young people, facing the country, a group, Association Against Women Export (AAWE) yesterday called on young students to imbibe qualities worthy of emulation and adopt people of integrity as role models.

Founder of the group, Dr. Rosaline Okosun made the call during the 7th edition of the association’s Annual Character Counts Award Ceremony were recipients were drawn from secondary schools across the three senatorial districts of the state.

Okosun said as young students, it was important to be of good behaviour at all times, lamenting that today, many youngsters have thrown away good character and morals to the garbage. She tasked secondary school principals and teachers on the shaping of the girl-child not just on school learning but also on character formation and good behavioural pattern of young adults.
