HRH Appolus Chu commends Etsu Nupe on 19th anniversary


The Oneh-EhNchia X and Egbere Emere Okori of Eleme Kingdom, Rivers State Nigeria, HRH Appolus Chu has commended the Etsu Nupe and Chairman, Niger State Council Of Traditional Rulers, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, on his 19th year on throne as the Etsu Nupe.

Abubakar, who is the father in charge of all the Nupe Nationalities in the World, will be celebrating his 19th year on the throne of Etsu Nupe on Saturday, September 18, 2021.

The Oneh-EhHchia X who commended the traditional ruler in a congratulatory message stated that his reign has brought remarkable transformation and blessing to the Nupe people. “It is with joy and appreciation to the Almighty God that I rejoice with you on this occasion of your 19th year on the throne. Your state and entire country has benefited from your wealth of experience given your role as Chairman of the Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers as well as Chairman, Coordinating Committee and member of the Trustees of the National Council of Traditional Rulers in Nigeria.”

HRH Chu further prayed that Almighty God will endow the Estu Nupe with more grace and wisdom for impactful leadership.

Abubakar succeeded the late Etsu Nupe, Alhaji Umaru Sanda Ndayako in 2003. Before his appointment as the Etsu Nupe 11 years ago, HRH Abubakar was the Kusodu Nupe. His ascension to the throne, no doubt, brought a lot of goodwill to the good people of Nupe land. Drawing from the reputation and goodwill he has garnered over the years, the Etsu Nupe has, within the past few years, attracted development to the Nupe land.
