Global dermo-cosmetics brand ISISPHARMA formally launched its Nigerian operations on Frida, at The Jewel Aeida in Lekki, Lagos, in an event attended by industry stakeholders, medical practitioners and members of the beauty and skincare sector.

The launch was led by ISISPHARMA’s chief executive officer, Grégoire Derwavrin, who travelled from the company’s headquarters in France for the occasion. He was accompanied by Noémie Masclaux, the brand’s Export Coordinator for the Middle East and Africa region, as part of a delegation from ISISPHARMA’s head office.

Representing the brand’s operations in Nigeria was the management team of Nigermed Skincare Limited, ISISPHARMA’s licensed exclusive partner in the country and parent company of Prima Derma Center, a Lagos-based skin and laser care centre founded by Dr Danmallam.

The programme included private consultations, panel discussions and question-and-answer sessions conducted by dermatology experts, focused on skin conditions that are prevalent among Nigerians, including hyperpigmentation, acne and compromised skin barrier function. A separate session addressed the increasing application of artificial intelligence in dermatological diagnosis and treatment.

The launch is expected to strengthen ISISPHARMA’s presence in the Nigerian dermo-cosmetics market, building on its partnership with Nigermed Skincare Limited and Prima Derma Center.
