Stalwarts of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, at the weekend restated the resolve of Igbo political class to ensure the emergence of a president of Igbo extraction in 2023.

The publisher of Champion Newspapers stated this at the 81st birthday celebration of a four-time senator, Chief Arthur Nzeribe, at his Haven of Peace country home, Oguta, Imo State.

Iwuanyanwu, who recalled the strong case made by Nzeribe for restructuring of Nigeria as overdue, extolled the call by the celebrant for the Igbo presidency.

Chairman of the occasion and former vice president of City Bank, Chief Austin Obigwe, described Nzeribe as a reliable partner, who has made Nigeria proud.
