KEDCO conference, award night holds Dec 1

Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) is set to hold a two-day marketing conference and award night to reward diligent workers.

The conference, the third in a series, according to the Managing Director, Dr. Jamilu Isyaku Gwamna, said the conference would be the third in the series.

Gwamna explained that apart from reviewing the company’s performance in 2018, the meeting would also provide opportunity to plan for upcoming year, 2019.

He said: “The team at KEDCO will use the conference to fine-tune marketing strategies to provide solutions to the company’s challenges.

“The conference would hold at Golf Resort in Minjibir Local Council of Kano State.

The CEO disclosed that KEDCO was poised to complement the efforts of the Federal Government in the power sector, by ensuring that Nigerians get the best global service delivery.

He added: “The third KEDCO annual marketing conference would be used as a tool to review our performance for the out-going year, as well as plan for the in-coming year.

“Since we have operated the company as a team, it is in this light that this conference is set to have a staff re-orientation for a common goal. We will use the avenue to also brainstorm and have a team bond to proffer solutions to the present challenge, while envisaging better ways to find solutions to future challenges.’’
