King and Queen of Naija Campuses, a pageant platform to raise kings and beauty queens in Nigerian tertiary institutions who will champion societal issues in the country, has called for entries into the 2021 edition of its maiden competition.

The entry for the pageant has opened for healthy, intelligent, handsome, and beautiful Nigerian boys and girls in campuses across the Southwest who will contest for the prestigious crowns.

The competition sponsored by VIP Industries Limited, makers of TopKlass/Viola cosmetic range, and Snow Media Production, is strictly for tertiary institutions in Southwest states, which includes, colleges of education, polytechnics, and universities.

Speaking at the unveiling of the competition, Chief Executive Officer, VIP Industries Limited, Mr. Umeh Dominic, said the firm decided to identify with the programme in order to give back to society.

He said as part of their community social responsibility efforts, the platform is designed to also help inculcate values in the youth and boost up their skill set.

Head, Media, and Publicity, Snow Media Production, Mr. Sam Olumide described the programme as an educative forum that will play a tremendous impact on the lives of Nigerian youths.

He stressed that it’s an avenue to enhance, cultivate and nurture individuals as professionals on various career paths, like becoming an entrepreneur, a business mogul, a producer, a model, a fashionista, a DJ, an eloquent speaker, a brand ambassador, among others.

Olumide said the competition will create an avenue for interaction, while also providing means to communicate with end-users of Topklass/Viola cosmetics.

According to him, winners in both categories will pocket N1million in addition to other benefits, which include a year supply of Topklass products, while the first runner-ups will receive N250,000 plus six months supply of Topklass cosmetics. The second runners up will get N150,000 in addition to three months supply of the company’s products.

Other benefits for participants include the opportunity to learn entrepreneur skills, kickstart modeling careers, become brand ambassadors, among others.

The application which kicked off on August 16, will end on October 18, 2021.

Interested individuals are advised to visit www.kingandqueennaija.com.ng to pick up their ticket for N2,000.

The organisers also said auditioning for participants will take place from October 19 to 22 in Lagos, while from October 25 to 27, it will take place in Oyo State. In Ekiti, candidates will audition between November 1 to 3, while in Osun it will hold from November 8 to 10. For candidates in Ogun, the organisers will conduct test between November 15 to 17.

The finale of the programme will hold on November 28 in Ogun State.
