kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has promised to support the rebuilding of Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) structure that was razed recently in Ilorin, saying the operations and programmes of the station give Kwarans a sense of belonging in the national setting.

“I will direct the Commissioner for Works, with whom I went to the scene of the incident, to assess the damage and we will move on from there. We will definitely take ownership as we have always done,” AbdulRazaq said when the Director-General of NTA, Yakubu Ibn Mohammed, visited him in Ilorin.

AbdulRazaq urged the DG to consider reviving NTA’s community station in Patigi because of its importance to the people of Kwara North.
