A member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Kosofe Constituency II Tunde Buraimoh has died. He was aged 60.

Buraimoh’s colleague Victor Akande, a lawmaker representing Ojo Constituency I also confirmed his demise.

“It is true that we lost Tunde Braimoh, I could not sleep since 1 am when I learnt about his demise, he was one of those who never toyed with his health,” Akande said.

Spokesperson to the Kosofe Local Government Chairman, Taiwo Fadipe, said Buraimoh died after a brief illness.

“He died at a hospital around Ikorodu road. He died overnight,” Fadipe said.

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Lagos State, Tunde Balogun, said, “I heard about his death.”

He, however, could not give details about the lawmaker’s death.

Buraimoh, who was the spokesperson of the Lagos State House of Assembly, had been absent from plenary sessions for about two weeks before he died.
