Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has felicitated with Muslims in the state as they celebrate the Eld-el-Fitri, which marks the successful completion of Ramadan fast.

In a statement, yesterday, by Director, Public Affairs and Enlightenment Department of LASTMA, Adebayo Taofiq, General Manager of the agency, Bolaji Oreagba, urged all Muslims to imbibe and practise the virtue of kindness, love, tolerance, peace, self-denial, sacrifice and good neighbourliness.

Oreagba said that LASTMA had begun vigorous public enlightenment campaign programmes at motor parks and garages for drivers to advise them on traffic regulations and for passengers to know their rights by cautioning drivers who move on high-speed or trying to manoeuvre in an attempt to drive against traffic, which is ‘One-way’.

He, however, enjoined members of the public, particularly motoring public, to inform LASTMA management of any road obstruction, gridlock, crash or other emergency-related matter that require urgent attention via the following telephone lines, 08100565860, 08129928597, 08129928503 and 08174722227.
