Masari restates Katsina government’s commitment to citizens’ welfare
Governor Aminu Bello Masari at the weekend restated his administration’s commitment to the welfare of the people of Katsina State.
To achieve this, he stated that socio-economic programmes capable of transforming lives were being delivered across the key sectors.
The governor pointed out that since his assumption of office on May 29,2015, his government had invested massively on a good number of projects whose outcomes had been positive.
On road construction, Masari said his regime had completed 13 inherited projects, constructed 46 new ones and rehabilitated 47 others.
He said the three highways commissioned last week by President Muhammadu Buhari cost the Katsina government more than N7 billion, adding that the infrastructure were to open up the communities for easy movement of their farm produce to the market.
