NAPTIP, NABDA get new DGs

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim as new Director-General of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP).

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim as the new Director-General of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP).

Until her new assignment, she was a member of the Nasarawa State Economic Advisory Council and Special Adviser on Strategic Communications to the Minister of State for Education.

Meanwhile, Prof. Abdullahi Mustapha, yesterday, resumed duties two months after his announcement as substantive Director-General of the National Biotechnology Development Agency (NABDA).

He took over from Prof. Alex Akpa, who has been in an acting capacity for the past two years.

A letter cited by The Guardian and dated November 2, 2020, confirmed Mustapha’s appointment.

The correspondence was addressed to the Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, by Secretary to Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha.
