Kaduna’s new NSCDC commandant assumes duty today
Commandant Nuhu Bello Muhammadu has assumed duty as the new Commandant of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Kaduna State Command.
The state NSCDC’s spokesperson, SC Habbeeb Badamasi, in a statement on Tuesday, said Muhammadu noted that discipline is the bedrock of any prosperous and successful organisation.
Badamasi, however, called on personnel to always be punctual, dedicated and focused towards their jobs, adding that as a security organisation responsible for the protection of lives, property and critical national assets and infrastructure.
He noted the need for discipline and commitment, stating that officers and men must adhere to the dress code adding that improper dressing, wearing incomplete uniforms at official working hours, including showing attitudes such as squeezing their uniform in the bag and gallivanting half-dressed within the office environment, would no longer be tolerated, except for officers of intelligence and investigation.
