Niger inaugurates new judges, Khadis
Niger State Governor, Abubakar Sani Bello, has sworn in two High Court judges and two Khadis of Shariah Court of Appeal.
While congratulating the judges on their appointments, the governor reminded them of the huge task ahead. Bello, who acknowledged that shortage of judges was not healthy for the state, expressed hope that there would be an improvement.
He commended the Chief Judge, Justice Halima Abdulmalik, for her efforts in seeing to the new appointments. Speaking on behalf of her fellow beneficiaries, Justice Aisha Wodu Bawa, assured the state that they would all time give their best in serving the course of justice.
She appreciated the governor, CJ and the entire judiciary for their commitment to a better judicial system in the state. Bello later presented official vehicles to all the new appointees.
