Director-general of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brig-Gen. Shuaibu Ibrahim has called on employers to support the scheme by offering permanent employment to deserving corps members after their service year.

Ibrahim, while delivering a keynote address at NYSC/Corps employers workshop in Kaduna, yesterday, also noted that the scheme detests maltreatment of corps members in workplaces, delay in issuance of final clearance to deserving corps members at the end of the service year and inappropriate usage of the new NYSC Information and Communications Technology (ICT) apps.

Reiterating his commitment towards the security of corps members throughout the service year, the DG also called on employers of the corps members to join the scheme in protecting youths serving in their organisations.
