The Ogun government, in partnership with the World Bank, is to bring succour to rural dwellers in the state through provision of needed infrastructure and social amenities that would lessen poverty in the communities.

General Manager of the State Community and Social Development Agency, Sakirudeen Salami, who disclosed this yesterday while addressing information officers in the Ministry of Information and Strategy, at the Governor’s Press Centre, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, said the programme was meant to provide quality facilities in areas such as education, health, water supply and others that could enhance the socio-economic status of the rural settlements.
