As the gale of ritual killings continues by suspected Yahoo Boys sends jitters down the spines of parents of Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, the governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa yesterday commiserated with the family of Miss Elozino Ogege, a 300-level student of Mass Communication Department of DELSU, who was brutally murdered by suspected ritualists masquerading as Yahoo boys.

Okowa has ordered a crackdown on all Yahoo boys, ritualists and those involved in unexplainable and sudden wealth in the state. The directive has sent ritualists scampering to safety to neighbouring communities like Obiaruku, Orogun and Sapele.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Charles Aniagwu in Asaba yesterday, the governor expressed his condolences to the family, the Isoko nation and the university community.

The governor noted with concern the increasing and disturbing activities of suspected ritual killers and criminally minded individuals, whose flamboyant escapades are becoming more conspicuous.
