Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, has signed into law two bills to establish State Accounts Allocation Committee for allocation of funds independently to the three arms of government.

Briefing newsmen after the signing of the laws, yesterday, the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Michael Gusa, explained that one of the laws would provide for management of funds accruing to the judiciary from the consolidated revenue fund of the state, and the other management of funds accruing to the House of Assembly.

He added that the committee would be saddled with the responsibility of sharing the funds accruing to the state monthly in a manner agreeable to the arms of government.
