Oyo Speaker, Ogundoyin bags international lifetime fellowship award
The Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin has bagged a prestigious senior fellowship recognition award of the Chartered Institute of Public Resources Management and Politics (CIPRMP), Ghana.
According to the institute, the award is to commend the impressive and enviable track records of the 32-year old Ogundoyin as an advocate of justice, notable public service personality and highly resourceful Nigerian statesman.
The Institute’s Executive Director, Dr. Richards Kpoku-Aquate during their induction ceremony in Ibadan at the weekend, observed that the Speaker has proven himself as a visionary and proficient parliamentarian that is determined to leave indelible marks in Nigeria’s legislative landscape.
Ogundoyin described the honour as encouragement and a challenge to do more in terms of bringing improved innovation and strategies into leadership and service to the people.
“I decided to accept this honour because I see it as a way of setting standard and reminder for myself not to disappoint my people in Oyo State and of course the Nigerian youths,” he said.
